One could hear sounds of book piling and furniture-moving at ADECOM Network’s Administrative Office on Wednesday morning. Team members Nandhini and Sita were in the front room dusting, replacing decorations, and, even more impressive, moving bookshelves and tables. Fellow member Raja also joined in to help, especially with heavy lifting.

After an hour or two the front room looked completely different. A study space had been made. Gleaming books were organized on shelves. Desks with computers were aligned and straightened.
The team had made a library.
ADECOM Network encourages all community members to read and to gain knowledge. For this reason it has collected over 200 books, both English and Tamil, on multiple subjects ranging from the study of caste, to womens’ rights, social development, and the teachings of Buddha. Members of the community are welcome to use the library to read, to study, and to further educate themselves. Education is imperative to a better country and to a better world.
