Capacity Building Training To CBO’S

On #31.05.2022, The capacity building training was provided to CBO’s to work VAW in Karaikal district.

It was organised with the support of our CBO #Ms. Padmini WEST organization, #Maitri #ADECOM Network.

Participants – Panchayat leader -1, Anganwadi Teacher -8, Lawyer -2, Women group leader -10, local NGO-1, and social activist 10.
There are 32 members participating in the above mentioned category. Of these 29 women and 3 Men.
Mr. Senthil Kumar sub inspector kottakuppam police station – has explained about the how to lodge FIR, important of FIR, Procedure of after filling FIR, what are thing should be mentioned in FIR, who can file case, how the third person can make complaint, charge sheet filling and witness.
Mr. Dinakaran, Advocate explained about the POCSO act, POSH, DV and other act for women and children. Also explained about the court procedure after filling FIR and arrested the perpetrators.
Our fellow explained about to identify the case and refer to the fellows, and supporting then mentally by providing the social counseling.
All the participants were given their full cooperation and actively participated till the workshop ended.
