Capacity Building Training- CBO’s- Thanjavur

#On 07.07.2022, Capacity building training was provided to community group members to work against sexual violence in Thanjavur District . Our CBO was organized with the Department of Social welfare, Maitri Network, ADECOM, Child line, and Shed India at Major hall, Anna Nagar. Mr. Jay Elbert Project Manager SHED India has given the introduction of this training. Mr. P. Pathimaraj explained the objective of the workshop. Ms. Rajeshwari, DSWO explained the Schemes implemented by the government for affected women and children. Ms. Vimla, admin OSC explained about the One Stop Service Centre Scheme and Women Helpline Scheme – 181. Mr. Rajkumar Social Welfare Program Officer, Mr. Thamizharasan Project fellow explained how ADECOM and Maitri Network works and so for in Thanjavur districts and provided the training to the participants.

There are 50 women and 10 men participated from Anganwadi, Local panchayath, NGO, Women group leaders.
