Capacity Building Training for CBO’s- VAW

#On 08.9.2022 Adecom Network, Maitri Network& SVED jointly organized training on the topic of promoting gender equality to prevent violence against women, Community interventions can empower women and engage with men.
Project fellow Ms. Jayasri has given training on Victim identification, care, and support (whom they are reaching, and how to get the many victims who do not seek help), Activities and services of a one-stop service center, women helpline number 181, DCPO, CWC, Childline, Child helpline number 1098, DLSA, AWPS. Media interventions can alter gender norms and promote women’s rights, sexual harassment in the workplace, and Internal compliance committees.

There are 26 Anganwadi teachers 5 Women project members, 8 media people 2 local panchayath members, 2 local NGO members 3 volunteers who participated in this training. Of these, women 31 men 15.
