Consultation meeting with CBO’s on Gender Based Violence

on 24.09.2022, ADECOM Network & AMWVTC organized consultation meeting with CBO’s on gender based violence in Thiyagdu Nagar Community Hall, Cuddalore District. It was attended by married women, unmarried women, unmarried men and children. After that, the community group members were divided into two groups and a picture of a woman and a man was drawn and the impact of gender-based violence on women and men and the methods of solving it were compiled and explained in a chart. All the members of the community participated enthusiastically. Only women spoke about the privileges and restrictions for men and the difference in rights between men and women based on gender. A total of 59 persons participated.
