on 24.09.2022 our Fellow orgainzed Masculinity training in Thalatheru Karaikal. In which Session 5 & 6 took by our fellow. Session 5: Eating at home. The training was conducted on the topic of last eating and limited food availability. Then they were asked to share the information about what food the boys and men eat from morning to night and how often and when they eat. They eat breakfast between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. At 11:00 a.m. they eat lunch between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. t Foods Eat dinner around 9 PM Breakfast Idli Dosa Puri Chapati Lunch Non-Veg Food. In the evening Fastfood att night they abstain from non-vegetarian food Women eat breakfast between 11 AM and 12 PM. They don’t take lunch very often. They said that they will take dinner and then the coordinator asked why the women do not eat proper food and they said that the youths are at home so they eat later. He said that women do not take food and at the same time they do not take nutritious food and then late taking food and not taking nutritious food causes anemia, irregular menstruation and child weight loss in women. He explained that women should be provided with nutritious food, citing the fact that these will occur, such as low milk supply, weak body, and fatigue. Session 6Training on Priorities and Constraints In this training we divided the group into two groups and one group was asked what are the priorities for men and one group was asked what are the priorities for women then what were the compulsions for men and what were the constraints for women then the coordinator told the youth that men and women have priorities and compulsions which are constructed by our ancestors. We are in a position to get rid of it, so if men cooperate, we can reduce the constraints and said that the training was completed.
