on 22.10.22 ADECOM Network & CRC organized discussion on Gender equality & VAW with Married & Unmarried Men in Kottampakkam, villupuram district. Mr. Kaviarasan welcomed everyone. In her speech, Mrs. Sudha said that she should introduce herself and introduce the youth one by one. Then she talked about gender equality. In the family, men and women should work with social rights with equality. Men should increase the responsibility of men in the family. Women were told to establish their rights by identifying women victims of domestic violence and advising them and explaining the ways to provide solutions with the integrated service center. She asked men how many times to meet the village requirement by attending the Gram Sabha meeting. They were made to understand the importance of Grama Sabha meeting . she made an understanding with them regarding the registration of the youth group. Then she said that she is identifying the victims of sexual violence and providing solutions to them. Male and female children in the family should be brought up equally and should be given equal education and food. When his face was tired and he was lonely, he told them that the family members should make them understand with kind words. Then he made them understand about the needs of the village and giving a decision in the village council meeting. Then the youth said that he asked a question in a youth meeting that how many times the village council meeting will be held in our village. Gram sabha meeting will be held in your village, your village must meet the needs of the gram sabha meeting He made them understand that you have to attend and then he made them understand that we are giving a lot of training to the youth through our office.
