on 28-10-2022, ADECOM Network & Pen Oli kudam organised discussion on Violence Against women by CBO’s in Anganwadi center Ariyur pet , Puducherry. In this event, Mr. Manjula Annal Ambedkar gave a lecture on women’s rationalization movement. In the purposeful speech, Mr. Barmavathi, family counselor said that in today’s times, women are subjected to many forms of violence, physical harm, mental, sexual, economic harm, when they are harmed mentally. We should always support the women who are affected in such a way and we should give our cooperation to the affected persons and the affected persons should come forward bravely to come forward and only then we can help the affected persons and the victims of domestic violence are told to file complaints in the office and give advice. Let us all work together for the welfare of the village
The main problems in the village such as lack of electricity in Anganwadi, non-functioning community welfare center said that everyone should try to fix these. Mr. Abirami Anganwadi teacher thanked the ADECOM for organizing this event and giving them an opportunity and in the coming month. This event should be well organized Asha workers were unable to come as the village nurses suddenly took them for training and said that the children should be taken care of with hygiene.Ms. Kavya Psychological Counselor said in her comment that women victims of violence are counseled psychologically to recover from psychological trauma and confidentiality is maintained as you tell us if you are traumatized.
