On 29.10.22, ADECOM Network & CRC Kondur organized CBO’s Meeting on Violence Against women in Kondur, villupuram District. Mrs. Ponniammal welcomed all the participants. In her speech Mrs. Sudha introduced and said that he is working for women and children and then she highlighted what are the priorities and constraints for women. what are the priorities and constraints for men then asked the community group members. who created this why are we following this then the community group members if women Taking care of the housework, taking care of the children and taking care of the husband and his family. She said that if the family is not functioning properly, there will be many problems in the family. We should investigate why the problem occurs. Meanwhile, if the men focus on the children and wife on the members of the family, the family will not function properly. They said that it should be done and if women go outside they will learn new things and there are many questions to develop knowledge she said that these things were built in the time of our forefathers, so there is a need to teach equality to your children, then after a hundred years there will be gender equality in our society, then women will progress. Then Gondur Panchayat Chairman Mr. Ezhemalai, saying that they are doing excellent work and we should give them cooperation. He said that the government has given 50% quota for women and we should use it so that women can achieve in everything and you should also become an achiever. The panchayat president was given a manual on gender equality. The panchayat president told them that there is a need for the youth to conduct awareness in Kondur village and asked them to make arrangements for the same.
