on 30.10.22 Our Fellow organized Masculinity training for Men & boys in Janakipuram village, Chengalpatu District. In this training, the training was conducted for the last four months. Another young man we have two girls in our house I have a boy my mother raised me as a pet I have never done any work in my house my elder sister and younger sister my mother takes care of all the work. I spoke to my mother after attending this training, what if I work only elder sister. I asked if she wants to work and my mother told me that girls should do housework and boys go out and earn so you don’t do housework. When I asked what if you do housework people in our village will make fun of you because you are working for girls. I gave my mother a proper understanding and told my mother that I had attended such a training. Then she said that it was good to hear this but if you work, think how people in our village will talk about you. Then I made understanding again with my mother she couldn’t understand so I help my younger sister and elder sister in small work and still I will learn my house work and help my younger sister. 26 men participated in this training.
