On 20.11.22, Our Fellow organized Masculinity training for Men & Boys in Janakipuram, Chegalpatu District. The coordinator reminded the previous exercise and then the coordinator took the exercise on controlling the movement of girls and women. He asked the youths who participated in the first exercise to stand in a circle and then one by one he asked me to say one two. Before I start this game I will tell you one condition every time I said that you should play this game accordingly They put small circles inside the big circle. The youths understood and started the game In the first round those who can be said to be women should run with both hands raised Participants in the small circle with clapping hands. There stood some people who didn’t get the small circle so they came out of the game then destroyed a circle . The coordinator told the participants to run on one leg and clapped after a few laps then one person came out of the game then the game started. The female participants were told to run with one leg and one arm raised while playing continued the coordinator clapped and stopped the game then the youth stood in a small circle then some people left the game.
Then the coordinator asked some questions if the game is fair and if not then why are the losers in this game, who made these rules when there is discrimination in such a game why don’t you question it against. It how did the losers feel this kind of game exists in our society who plays the control imposed on women at home, What is the impact? Who is responsible for playing such a game? They asked questions about who can change the rules of this game. Then the youth gave some comments. Then the coordinator said that women are the losers in this game. Why is it that they are forced to do so? It is our society that has made these rules and this is how women are discriminated against. Conducts this we must do to break the rules of this game we can only change so we get understanding and forget He said that people should also understand that due to the imposition of such restrictions on women, they are left behind in a lot of things. Totally 26 participants were participated..
