16 days Campaign- DAY – 4, On 28.11.2022, The department of social welfare, DWDS have coordinated the 16 days campaign activism in SRM college, Chengalpet district. It was to given knowledge to the participants regarding domestic violence, sexual violence, Child Marraige, child abuse, One stop center(OSC),Women helpline number 181 & children helpline number 1098, scheme available for women and child in Tamilnadu by Ms. Vedhanayagi, MS, Ms. Mageswari Project fellow, and our CBO Ms. Komala. Mr. Baskar, Advocate have highlighted the POCSO act and DV act. There are 150 people in total. (of these, 91 women, 59 men) Teacher’s – 9, Panchayat leader – 1, Ward member – 2, BDO – 2, CBO- 1, fellow – 1, Community women – 10, Students -124.
