DAY 9 16 Days campaign

# 16 days Campaign- DAY – 9, On 03.12.2022, As part of this 16-days campaign, an awareness meeting was held for volunteers, community group members, fellows and staff members of ADECOM Network on the occasion of World Day of Persons with Disabilities. It was organized in coordination with Pen Oli Koodam, Pondicherry. On this day, we talked about how we see the person with disabled people as social activists, their problems and needs. Mainly, the status of women victims of sexual violence and domestic violence was also discussed. Also, the project fellows briefed about the cases they met and the assistance provided by our project and their expectations. The victim’s woman couldn’t narrate what happened to her. She also mentioned that their financial condition and physical condition make them unable to pursue the case. It was mentioned that women victims should be treated with dignity and that treatment with dignity is one of the most important human rights. This meeting was attended by 30 people.
