# 16 days Campaign- DAY – 11, On 05.12.2022, Auto campaign was carried out in 8 villages in Chengalpattu district namely Kolathur, Marakanam Odai, Chinna KottaiKadu, Periya KottaiKadu, Nallur, Karumbakkam, Thenpakkam and Bhoomi Kuppam. Regarding the 16-day campaign activism for the people, if women are victims of domestic and sexual violence, they should come forward with courage and complain against the accused. Our partner Ms. Komala explained about how to bring up women and children safely, their rights, helpline number 1098 and steps taken under POCSO Act and how to reach the voluntary organization for the help. Ms. Maheswari, fellow explained the, Activities and services of One stop service center, How the victim should approach OSC, functions of the free legal aid services and how the survivor can get free legal service. The women victims of violence should be treated with dignity. The victim of sexual violence should not be blamed and should be treated with dignity and should be supported till she gets justice. The campaign was conducted by our CBO Ms. Komala, director of DWDS in coordination with ADECOM and MAITRI Network. Through this campaign they have reached 320 village people.
