On 25.12.2022, Our Fellow had organized the perspective building masculinity training workshop at Thookkanam pakkam Village. They are 18 members participated and benefitted. Before starting the session, fellow asked about the last session was taken and she briefed the reminded about session 8. Also, she asked the feedback from the group members. After that, she started providing the introduction about today’s session . She took class on session 9, using abusive words agnst women. She divided into 2 groups. Asked them to write the how people are using abusive words against women and men. The women group listed out more than 6 points. The men group listed only 2 points. The women group listed our following points, 1. Widow – A woman who has lost her husband. 2. Barren – A childless woman 3. An unmarried girl – no zodiac sign and etc. In men team , they written when they not study and if they not going job their parents would scold them like that. Hence, the fellow explained how the society and our family members used to describe the women when they lost husband, they don’t have children. But, when comes to men, they find another women for re marriage and etc. The session concluded with how should we see the women in the society. If you ses this kind of women. We should support them by raising our voice. The self changes makes everything. Thankyou
