Europe Union Human Right & democracy thematic Programme and promotion of gender Equality and women’s rights in India, Kick off meeting was organize by ADECOM Network at the District Women Resource Centre at Villuuram on 28.01.2022. Mr.Perumal Legal Consultant explained the EU project of Sexual violence against women and Girls. He narrated about the PR3 Model Prevention, Response, Rehabilitation and Reform details and mentioned lots of points about this to the EU Project Team. He also explained the three key Results and assumptions, also mention the Specific result of the Project.
Mr. Perumal mentioned the Building and Strengthening Survivors Forum, partners meeting with OSCs to make a mutual relationship with OSCs, Social Substance and communities are treating victims with Dignity and are better able to respond and support victims to return the normal, also discussed to conduct partnership meeting with schools, make a capacity building programs, workshop and awareness to prevention of school children.
He also explained in detail of the project , community level Conduct Sanitization and awareness workshops with Men and Boys, Relationship support to barefoot lawyers, the training of barefoot lawyers about immediate relief support, Legal support and Identification and Documentation of cases, immediate support of Survivors is fact finding, Legal Guidance, Psychosocial Support Psychosocial Counselling of the Survivors, long term legal support, and Skill development.
Ms.Lalidamballe managing Trustee discussed the women self-help group Project of women Empowerment, How to conduct the awareness programs and all things discussed. Newly team were participated in the meeting.
