Awarness Camp on Violence Against Women

In Villupuram district, our CBO VCDS organized an awareness camp on sexual violence against women and children on 28.02.2023 at Adithiravida Welfare Middle School, Aavudaiyar Pattu village with the support of ADECOM and Maitri Network. Dr. Rajkumar and Ms. Kowsalya, Mr. Pushparaj Panchayat leader and Mr. Ashokkumar Ward member and Mr. Paneer selvam gave a speech about the awareness that can be given to girl children and about the Prevention of Domestic Violence Act, child marriage, violence against women and children, Women help line number 181, children helpline number 1098 and etc.,.A total of 44people including 25 women, 02 men, 10 young women and 07 young men participated in the meeting.
