On 26.03.2023, a community awareness meeting was organized by Vetri Youth Welfare Association at Poovam village, Karaikal district. Mr. Ramachandran, President Vetri Youth Welfare Association has given introduction about our activities and services towards the survivors. Mr. Muruganandam, Police Officer Kotucherry in his speech raised awareness about the POCSO Act. The Act was enacted in 2012 to register cases under the POCSO Act against female victims under the age of 18 and male victims under the age of 21.It was implemented in 2013.
