On 26.03.2023, Fellow conducted the session on Facilitation of education and education as a rightmen at Poovam village, Karaikal district. In this session, The project fellow asked the participants to share what they had learned in the preceding session, how they had implemented it, and the challenges and problems encountered in doing so. There are 21 group members trained. The fellow divided the participants into two groups. She told them that they were going to conduct a quiz and asked me to answer the questions. It was said that the marks would be given. First it was asked who gives the right to education. To which they gave the correct answers as to the Constitution of India. Like that, the questions were asked. Then, the fellow explained two different stories to the two groups. This story presents questions for discussion. At the end of the session, she concluded that our constitution provides for free and compulsory education for all children between the ages of six and 14 years. No family, society or government should put any kind of obstacle in getting this right. No child should be left out of education for any reason.
