On 06.04.2023 Stakeholders Consultation meeting with multi departmental officials was held at the Social Welfare Complex in association with Cuddalore District Social Welfare and Women Empowerment, One Stop Service Centre, Annai Meenambal Village Women Development Trust. This stakeholder meeting was a follow-up to the state-level discussion held on 20 & 21, st January 2023 at SIRD & PR. In this consultation, information was shared with which departments the recommendations received at the State Level Stakeholder Meeting have been made into recommendation. Also, a copy of the request was provided to all. Based on that, it was discussed what the next steps can be taken and what steps can be taken to ensure speedy justice for the victimized Women and children.

1. Service providers should be appointed at taluk level. Because it is difficult to pursue all the cases, said the Protection officer.
2. Police officials said that measures should be taken to avoid false complaints.
3. Widespread awareness of one stop service centre should be created. This requires the help of a voluntary organization.
4. Child marriage is a major form of sexual violence against children. Therefore, to prevent child marriage at the village level, Village administrative officers, Anganwadis and Area nurses should be sensitized.

In Total, 35 people participated and recorded their views.Of these 13 men and 28 women (1 – Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, 1 – Central Administrator Integrated Service Centre, 1 – Protection Officer, 1, Social Welfare Department Supervisor, 1 Child Welfare Committee Chairman, 1 Formar Child Welfare Committee Chairman, 2 District Legal Services Authority Advocates, 1 Child line Program Coordinator, 1 ChildLine Member, 2 Doctors, 1 Para Legal Volunteers, 4, Volunteers, 2 Community Group Leaders, 5 Community Group Members, 11 Representatives of Voluntary Organization.
