On 15.06.2023, European Union, Karuna Trust Germany, ADECOM Network, KNK, Social Organisation & Primary Health center organized awareness meeting for women in Gorkadu Sub-Health Center on Legal & Health .
Ms. Savitri welcomed all the participants. Mr. Kamaladas Lawyer, on his Comment Domestic violence is a crime in families. Supporting the victim of domestic violence, guiding the victim of domestic violence,Right laws Creating a safe place for your loved ones. Economically backward women can approach the office if they need legal assistance and if there are any problems like birth certificate ,inheritance certificate & marriage registration through the law, contact the legal advisor and the office is working to support the affected women and we are creating legal awareness in every village, he said.

High number of domestic violence case admitted in Karikalampakkam hospital but no women dare to complain about their husbands. Women should be brave enough to speak out their problems in counseling centers your privacy will be protected. Teach children hygiene and safety from early.

We are working as a service provider in the Women and Child Development Department and a counseling center is running through the center to register women victims of domestic violence under the Prevention of Domestic Violence Act for medical examination.
