Village Level Children’s Committee was Organized by District Child Protection Office Social Worker, In this Progaram, ADECOM Women Dignity center Facilitator Mr. Lakshmipathy and Paralegal voulentrie Ms.Kuppammal are participated and also Pelakkuppam School Headmaster, Pelakkuppam Village Administrative Officer, Pelakkuppam Panchayat Council Secretary, Pelakkuppam Anganwadi Worker, Women Self Help Group Leaders and School Children are participated. Here Awareness was given on the numbers 1098,181 for women and children issues, Also Discussed about women and girl child, Destitute children are children who are without parents and are told about the amount of assistance available to them from the government. the Immediate Impact of this program is All participants agreed to call 1098 in case of child problem and child marriage in their area. In future the Expected Impacts are take a Resolution on behalf of the committee to establish a Balika Panchayat in our area by ADECOM women Dignity centre Tindivanam, to provide capacity building training to women and children from violence-prone communities to strengthen and build knowledge and awareness to contribute to prevention.
