Tindivanam- September 29, 2023, ADECOM Dignity Center organized a Life Skill development workshop for Adolescent girls held today at Singanur ,Adi Dravidar Government Higher Secondary School. The event was inaugurated by Teacher Mr. Paranthaman , who gave a welcome speech.This program coordinated and gave an Introductory speech by ADECOM Dignity center coordinator Mr. Lakshmipathy. The first keynote speaker was Marakanam block CDPO Ms.Jagadeeswari, who spoke in detail about children’s nutrition, followed by The Chief Guest of AD welfare Higher Secondary school Headmaster Ms.Manimegalai gave a special speech on education and nutrition of Adolescent girl’s and also she encourage the Girls for their higher studies to achieve the future goals,followed by her the Omanthur primary health center CHN Ms.Vetrichelvi, spoke about cleanliness and hygiene development methods for Adolescent girls Next, police inspector Ms.Tamizhselvi from the police spoke about the case registration system and the police department, your friend is the friend of the children, followed by her, the social activist Mr. Rajesh Deena explained very nicely about the Periyar principle and the Ambedkar principle. followed by him the One Stop center caseworker Ms.Gracie Jennifer spoke nicely about the OSC’s activities, counseling and case consultation,then ADECOM Network Advocate Mr.Prakash on Juvenile Crime Sexual Offenses Education Rights Act, Singanur VHN Ms.Dthatchayani gave a very detailed presentation on the use of nutritional tablets and nappies.

Followed her the Health Supervisor Mr. Venkateswaran gave a very good presentation on the spread of dengue and the problem solving .In this workshop 32 Adolescent girl’s are participated, the other participants, paralegal Voluntaries, including resource persons are 21 of them participated ,The end of the program SMC president Ms.Ganga gave a Vote of thanks to all.
