ADECOM Women Dignity Centre Tindivanam conducted a Balika Panchayat meeting was held on 30.10.2023. The Program Felicitated by ADECOM Women’s Dignity Center Tindivanam Facilitator Mr.Lakshmipathi and Coordinated Psychological Counselor Mr.Ettiyappan . They give awareness to Children and teach about safety through play. Awareness was given about children’s rights including the

Right to Protection -Right to development -Right to Life -Right to participate.
Awareness was given to the children with examples. The Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer who was elected in last month’s Balika Panchayat Elections introduced them and they were told that they will be given oath of office in the presence of the Panchayat Council President in the next month Balika Panchayat meeting and they will be given certificates. Volunteer Mr.Rajasekhar participated in the meeting. 21 Girls participated Outcomes of the program All agreed to attend the once a month Balika Panchayat meeting. At the end of the meeting a silent tribute was paid to Mrs. Lalidamballe Madam, Executive Trustee of ADECOM Network.
