The Full day awareness program is part of a 16-day International level campaign from November 25 to December 10 on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, organized by ADECOM Network Women’s Resource Center Villupuram jointly with Department of Social Welfare and Women’s Rights at New Bus Station, in Villupuram District .

This program was inaugurated by Mr. Napoleon Villupuram District Child Protection Office Legal Probation Officer and all the staff. Next, a tribute was paid to the late Ms. Lalidamballe Managing Trustee of ADECOM Network.
Followed this ADECOM Women’s Resource Center Co-Ordinator, Ms. Aarthi Epciba gave an introductory speech about the project and program. Next , Ms. Ambika District Maternity and Child Health Medical Officer and Mr. Napoleon LPO, were released the awareness posters on 181,1098 and child marriage . Mr. Lakshmipathy ,Facilitator WDC Tindivanam and Mr. John Bosco, Facilitator WDC Gingee Coordinated this program. Mr. Napoleon, Legal Probation Officer, Office of Child Protection and ADECOM Network WRC Mental Health Counselor Mr. Ettiyapan provided legal and mental health counseling to newly identified survivors and their families of violence from WDCs. A total of 14 people attended this counseling session with 6 survivors members. Following this session, notices were given to the public around Villupuram New Bus Stand by the volunteers.

Finally Mr. Murugan field coordinator, gave the vote of thanks and the following staff members Mr. Sasikala Caseworker, Ms. Jayaprabha Field Coordinator, Ms. Vijayalakshmi Volunteer coordinated the program.
