On 13.02.2024,School Awareness Program Organised by Tindivanam WDC facilitator Mr.Lakshmipathy at Government Girls High School Marakanam . In this Program the Violence against women were discussed. They were introduced about the activities. The activities of our project were also discussed. The objectives of our project activities were also discussed. Gender equality was discussed. And the children were advised to go home with security even when they come to school. Helpless children were told about the amount of assistance available from the government for children who are without their parents. What is child marriage? The question was asked and explained. The effects of child marriage were highlighted. Child marriage pledge. Everyone agreed to read Lakshmipati coordinator. On behalf of the school, Mr. Baskaran, the Assistant Headmaster, said that since 10 children in Marakanam tribal Irular area did not attend school, they requested the parents and children to create awareness together with the group. At last The children were asked for their Feedbacks. In this Program 420 Girl Childrens are Participated.
