On 23/02/2024 Balika Panchayat program, Navmal Marudhur was held at Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Ilandedi education teacher Preethi’s home. Around 14 children participated in this meeting and four children participated as spectators. CRC coordinator Thirumiku R. Jayaprabha organized this meeting by gathering all the children. She created awareness among the children about the safe and unsafe places in Villupuram district then the legal advisor Mr. Seenu Perumal lawyer suddenly joined as a special invitee which brought happiness among the children and they sat in a circle with the children and introduced themselves one by one. You are studying in school, the introduction started and all the children were happy. In this meeting, they said that at least five children will become collectors, five children will become policemen and four children will become doctors. Such comments were very interesting among the children. They said that we need toilet facility, we need road facility, we need a library, then Mr. Ezhumalai told him that we can help all of you to provide such facilities and your village gram panchayat head can petition them that the government has a plan for toilet facility and they should make arrangements for all the children on the ground to use it. He said that he will buy a mat for sitting and reading and I will deliver it myself by March 8th and he will give everyone a note-writing material. The meeting ended by motivational song by Mr.Ezhumalai.
