The Members meeting for men and boys  meeting was planned for this month at Kollar village Behalf of ADECOM Network WDC Tindivanam and the title of the Men and Boys meeting  is chooses by the guidance of ADECOM network WRC with a discussion of members.

Description:

The Men and Boys Meeting Organized by Tindivanam ADECOM Network Women Dignity Centre Facilitator Mr. Lakshmipathy on 16.04.2024 at Kollar village. In this Meeting the panchayat president Mr. Punniya Moorthy as a special guest invited by the team and PLV Ms. Revathi, Counsellor Mr.Ettiyappan are coordinating this meeting. At the beginning of the meeting, it was discussed about Gender Equality, that is men and women are equal and parents should be helpful in their daily life in our house. We heard everyone’s personal opinions. We highlighted the need and purpose of the meeting on the protection of women and girls. Gender equality, education of girl child and need of girl child were discussed. Also discussed the seriousness of the POCSO cases to the members. The children are suffering due to the lack of a wall in the school, so it was requested to make arrangements on behalf of this ADECOM Network Men and Boys group. Future meetings are also planned to conduct in kind of Gender based topics. Here the participants are 8 Men and  13 Boys. A total of 21 members participated.
