Date:22.04.2024  Title: Understanding Social Norms Related to the Adolescent Life Cycle

The school awareness program was held on 22.04.2024 at PUMS Thenpasaru. In this Program the topic about Violence against women and child were discussed. The School Head master MS. Sumathi was Invited as a Chief guest for this program They were introduced about the activities. The activities of our project were also discussed. Gender equality was discussed. The children were advised to go home with security even when they come to school. Helpless children who are without father and mother or both were told about the Relief amount of assistance available through the government in various schemes. Also Discussed about What is child marriage? The question was asked and explained. The effects of child marriage were highlighted. Take the pledge of child marriage. Everyone agreed to read ADECOM Network WDC facilitator Mr.Lakshmipati Children’s opinions. Mr. Ettiyapan. Psychological Counsellor PLV Ms. Revathi coordinated this program. 22 boys and 35 girls total 57 students participated.
