On 23.4.24, Gingee dignity center organized awareness program for students in Government Middle School Jayangondam, Gingee Taluk. The event was presided over by the school headmaster Thiruvaral Ilangovan School Headmaster. In the program school teacher five and students 182 ( Male. 89,Female.93) were participated.

The student space was briefed on key concepts that students should adhere to this summer vacation.

Students should avoid excessive sun exposure.

Advice was given to avoid going to the well and bathing.

It was also advised that girls in general should avoid going to their relatives’ houses during these holidays.

• It was also advised to avoid climbing the money tree for plucking nungu.

Also girls were advised to be very safe and be very cautious as more people from outside areas come towards the villages during these holidays. The objectives of our project activities were also discussed. Gender equality was discussed. Helpless children were told about the amount of assistance available from the government for children who are without their parents. Awareness was created about the child and the effects of child marriage were highlighted. Children were asked for their opinions. All arrangements for the event were made by Gingee Adecon Dignity Center Coordinator Mr. Jan Bosco and Glory.
