A Capacity Building training for Adolescent Girls was held on behalf of ADECOM Women’s Dignity Center. Facilitator Mr.Lakshmipathi welcomed them all at the beginning of the training. Villupuram District Social Welfare and Rights Department is the special invitee for this training. Ms. Gejalakshmi, District Coordinator of Women’s Hub Centre participated as the special guest and gave a speech to the students about the need for protection of girl children. The need for education for girls and the welfare programs of the government for women. Also in the training, he told the children about violence against women and rights for women and how we can prepare ourselves at this age about the psychological changes that occur during growth. Ms. Bhavani, the school principal of Government high School Kollar, said that all the children should continue their studies in a good manner. Educational guidance was also explained to the children who are passing 10th. 27 children participated in this exercise and shared their views and benefited. In the next step, the Kollar school teacher Ms. Samyukta explained in this exercise about cleanliness and hygiene for the benefit of the children. WDC Facilitator Mr. Lakshmipathi spoke about the effects of child marriage. Finally, Ms. Revathi gave a vote of thanks to all.
