We were honored to have Mr. Lakshmipathi, Coordinator of theTindivanam ADECOM Women’s Dignity Center, attend our meeting. The session was welcomed and commenced by Mrs. Teja Shri, with the topic of the day being the Rights of Adolescent Girl.

In celebration of former Chief Minister Karmaveerar Kamaraj’s birth anniversary, all the children received sweets, and his impactful plans were discussed. To kick off the meeting, we played a group game to engage and unite the children.

Meeting Highlights:

1. Review of Last Month’s Events and Experiences:
   Discussed with the children to reflect on our progress.
2. Understanding Human Rights:
   Explained the concept of human rights and the importance of recognizing rights violations.
3. Women’s Rights:
   Discussed the significance of women’s rights and highlighted four key rights for children to understand:
   • Right to Live: Basics like food, clothing, and shelter.
   • Right to Development: Access to age-appropriate education through the Education for All program.
   • Right to Security: Emphasized child safety through interactive activities.
   • Right to Participate: Encouraged participation in school competitions, stressing the importance of this right.
4. Commitment to Education:
   Stressed the importance of education and announced that members who achieve the highest marks this year will be awarded prizes by our Balika Panchayat Committee.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by member Jayashree.

Together, we strive to empower and educate our children on their rights and responsibilities. 🌟
