A vital awareness program on girl child safety took place at Sathyamangalam Government High School. Special guests included Mrs. Deepa, Police Inspector, and Mr. Napoleon, Legal Probation Officer from District Child Protection Office, Villupuram, alongside dedicated faculty members.

Highlights:

• Warm welcome by Mr. Jeevendran, school headmaster.
• Insightful introduction by Mr. John Bosco.
• Mrs. Deepa emphasized open communication with parents and teachers for addressing safety concerns, offering direct support to students.
• Mr. Napoleon discussed critical issues like early marriage and harassment, stressing the importance of safeguarding girls.

During the program, three students courageously shared incidents of harassment, prompting immediate police action for their safety on the way home.
