On 20th September 2025, the Women’s Resource Centre (WRC), Villupuram, organized a one-day Capacity Building Program for 18 adolescent girls, focusing on empowerment, safety, and self-confidence.

💫 Mrs. Kayal Vizhi and Mrs. Jayachithra from the All-Women Police Station (AWPS) led impactful sessions filled with motivational insights, real-life case experiences, and discussions on women’s safety and empowerment — inspiring participants to become confident changemakers in their communities.

🌷 The event began with a warm welcome by Mrs. Shilpa, who shared the vision and ongoing initiatives of ADECOM, followed by active participation from Mrs. Anbarasi of Poyyapakkam. The girls enthusiastically joined discussions, asked thoughtful questions, and shared meaningful reflections throughout the day.

📝 After lunch, a feedback session captured their positive learning experiences, highlighting the program’s success in building awareness and confidence.

The day concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Divya, marking the event as interactive, informative, and deeply empowering. 💖
