On 09.10.2025, the ADECOM Network team conducted an inspiring field visit at Salai Agaram Village, engaging directly with the community and adolescent girls. A total of 12 participants joined with curiosity and enthusiasm.
💬 The session began with an introduction to ADECOM Network — its vision, mission, and ongoing efforts to build safer, gender-just, and inclusive communities across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
🎯 Focusing on the theme “Girls’ Safety and Protection”, the team created a safe space for the girls to express themselves openly. Discussions emphasized awareness, mutual support, and self-protection, alongside sharing important helpline numbers:
1098 – Childline
181 – Women Helpline
112 – Emergency Number
✨ The girls actively participated, sharing their dreams and aspirations — from becoming teachers, doctors, and social workers to future leaders in their communities. Their voices reflected strength, hope, and a desire to create positive change.
💪 The session encouraged them to stand together, support each other, and believe in their ability to shape a safer world.
Through this visit, ADECOM Network reaffirmed its commitment to empowering adolescent girls with knowledge, confidence, and access to resources. Every interaction reminded us that when girls are informed and empowered, communities grow stronger and safer.
