On 10.10.2025, a Balika Panchayat meeting was successfully conducted at Endiyur Village, Tindivanam Taluk, with the active participation of 16 enthusiastic adolescent girls.

👩‍🏫 The session, facilitated by PLV Mrs. Chithra and Illam Thedi Kalvi Volunteer Mrs. Rajakumari, focused on the theme “Safe and Unsafe Spaces.”
The girls identified areas in their village where they felt unsafe and decided to raise these concerns during the upcoming Grama Sabha meeting on October 11th.

🎯 Through interactive group games, the participants improved their memory, unity, and teamwork skills, while learning about the importance of safety, awareness, and discipline.
The facilitators encouraged them to attend Illam Thedi Kalvi classes regularly, where consistent learners are appreciated and rewarded. They also shared that psychological and legal counseling support is available through ADECOM Network for children and families in need.

🌸 The meeting ended on a positive and inspiring note, with the girls pledging to actively attend every Balika Panchayat meeting.
