On 15 October 2025, the ADECOM Network – Women’s Dignity Centre, Tindivanam, organized a Balika Panchayat meeting at Singanoor New Colony, Tindivanam Taluk, with 17 adolescent girls actively participating in the session.

👩‍🏫 Facilitated by PLV Mrs. Chitra and Home-Based Education Volunteer Mrs. Abirami, the meeting focused on identifying safe and unsafe spaces within their village. Through interactive discussions and group activities, the girls confidently shared their thoughts and learned valuable lessons about personal safety, unity, and discipline.

🌷 The facilitators encouraged the participants to attend learning sessions regularly and assured that psychosocial and legal support would be available for children and families whenever needed.

💪 The meeting concluded with a collective pledge by all participants to work together in making their village a safe, supportive, and empowered space for every girl. 🌿✨
