🔥 “Child Marriage – A Human Rights Violation” 🔥
The session sensitized members that:
🚫 Anyone below 18 years is legally a child
⚖️ Marrying girls below 18 or boys below 21 is punishable by law
💔 Early marriage causes serious physical & emotional harm
📞 Report Immediately
👉 1098 – To prevent child marriage
👉 181 – To report forced marriage cases involving girls above 18
✨ The meeting strongly emphasized:
🎓 Right to higher education
💛 Right to personal choice & safety
🤝 Equal opportunities for girls and boys
The event also celebrated the achievements of Balika Panchayat members who excelled in school-level swimming and kabaddi competitions, applauding their talent and determination 🏊♀️🤾♀️🏅
