On 31 December, an impactful interaction was held at the ADECOM Women’s Dignity Centre, Tindivanam, for 23 newly registered survivors of violence. The session was led by Mr. Seenu Perumal, Back Office Managing Trustee & Legal Consultant, along with Trustee Mrs. Nandhini and Advocate Mr. Prakash.
During the interaction, survivors were clearly informed about case procedures, compensation details, and the current status of their cases, and were encouraged to visit the Tindivanam office at least once a month for follow-up. Trustee Mrs. Nandhini emphasized the importance of child safety, regular communication with children, not withdrawing legal cases, and mandatory court attendance to truthfully share their experiences when required.
The Inspector from the All Women Police Station highlighted the need to ensure continuous education for children and reassured survivors of strong institutional support. In addition, educational guidance support for children has been planned for the upcoming academic year, essential relief materials were distributed, and New Year wishes were extended to all participants.
