On 07 January 2026, ADECOM District Coordinator Mrs. Arokiya Mary conducted a men’s group meeting at Tholaiyanam Cholatharam, with the active participation of Project Coordinator Mrs. Sivaranjini and members of the local community.

The meeting provided an open and safe space for discussion, encouraging men to reflect on their roles and responsibilities in promoting a violence-free society. The session focused on Violence Against Women and Children, its causes and consequences, and the importance of respectful relationships and shared responsibility.

Participants were informed about ongoing awareness programmes and how community involvement can help prevent violence. Men also shared the basic and social issues faced in their area, leading to meaningful dialogue and collective understanding.
