ADECOM Network

# 16 days Campaign- DAY – 14, A series of 16 days campaign was conducted at Thiruvannmalai district in Coordination with the Department of Social welfare on 08.12.2022 at the BDO office , Kalasapakkam. It was organised by our CBO Ms. Nesakumari, WET NGO, with the support of ADECOM and Maitri Network.Through this campaign 172 women got awareness on gender equality, scheme available in government, helpline number 181, 1098, child marriage, types of violence against women, domestic violence,child protection and rights, activities of OSC and free legal aid and etc.  Mr. Govintharaj, BDO, continued the rally by making pledges after the awareness meeting.Mr. Narayanan, Ms. Saraswati from the social welfare department, Ms. Susila Village Welfare Officer joined as a resource person and delivered the effective information to the participants.
