# 16 days Campaign- DAY – 14, On 08.12.2022,  Our CBO Ms. Padmini organised the public campaign at Karaikal bus stand. Our fellow has given introduction about ADECOM, Maitri and WEST activities and services to the women and children. How they are coordinating and working with government officials and objectives of the 16 days campaign activism. Ms. Padmini, Director WEST explained about violence against women at public place, bus, colleges, schools, home, company. In case of any incidents happens to women to come forward to make complaint against accused. We are there for you to guide and get justice as soon as possible. They should know the rights and the way to protect themselves. Also, she highlighted the  Department like social welfare, protection officer, child line, free legal aid are supporting the women by counselling services and guiding the survivors to get the justice.Ms. Ramalingam, PC ,Kottucherry Police station – SOS Kavalam app is working to protect the women and children in unsafe situations or incidents. So, you can conduct us. The police will rescue you immediately.After that, the notice was distributed to the people around the bus stand. There are 200 men and 150 women who got awareness through this campaign.
